Onemannbrand is a one man…. brand. Combining design, illustration, branding and advertising, his illustrated works have edgy commercial appeal. He also has some very nice visualization pieces (artwork done for approvals in advertising before photo or video shoots).

Cristina Sitja has a range of styles in her book, although they all have a consistency that is uniquely hers. I adore her use of scratchy, seemingly random pencil scrawls for added texture and interest.

Owen Freeman’s work broods over the darker side of human workings. His paintings are beautifully crafted in style and tone, almost always carrying through a sense of quiet anger. In other words, they’d make for great Vertigo covers.

Minako Saitoh Botsford paints some amazing Ohimesama (a term akin to what I understand as princess…) pictures in Photoshop. Her women have a retro 50s glamor feel, even if they are made on the computer.
