Illustrator/ dsigner Scotty Reifsnyder has a tight but stylistically impressive collection of work in his very tidy portfolio. Despite the various catergories on the site, most of his work is embellished with his illustrations, so do take a peek through everything. You can get a glimpse at his personal likes too by checking out the ‘About’ section.

Jonathan Cusick is a very talented illustrator and caricaturist whose work strikes a perfect balance between realism and comedy. Whether he’s drawing celebrities, politicians or just plain old every day folks, Cusick imbues them with a personality that, if only for the moment, makes them larger than life. Maral Sassouni is our first ‘illustratot of the week’ for the new year at Illustrophile! That’s right – for this year, we’re going to feature folks for an entire week! We hope that the extended exposure will help the people we feature, and that it will give readers more time to appreciate their wonderful work.
Maral was born in the US but she has lived in the US and Europe, and is currently calling Paris home. She works in watercolor, ink, gouache and digital media, and her work has graced world-renowned publications like the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review and the Washington Post. Check out an interview with her here.

Happy New Year from Illustrophile!
We’re going to be back with new features starting next Monday. Instead of featuring people on a daily basis though, we’re going to try featuring people for a whole week instead!
We’re also hoping that someone can help us with the site, by helping us spruce up the Wordpress template and possibly making it so that you can post your news more easily. If you’d like to offer your services, please send an email to charlene@charlenechua.com regarding Illustrophile.
See you on Monday!
