Phil LePine’s work is really quite something, although when you consider he’s been at his job for nearly a quarter of a century, it’s little wonder that his work spans a variety of styles. It’s an inspiring portfolio because illustration these days has become so specilized most people only work in a very limited styliztic range.

Subway

A while ago fellow illustrator Adrian Forrow suggested I paint a floating image (not sure what the technical term would be), and so I did. Despite it being a floating image I still managed to make it have a background of sorts, as you can see. The next painting will hopefully be something more substantial.

Gabriel Moreno’s work is a lush, chic fantasy world that is just oozing with style. Beautiful work all round. If you have the cash to spare, drop by his shop and pick up some original art.
