Dear Blog Thingy

Hey everyone,

although this isn't my first entry, it's my first real attempt at a blog entry. I'm going to presume that nobody is reading this blog yet and will take this opportunity to confess to my greatest secrets; to unload while nobody is reading yet. First dark secret, last year during a party, I..#^%$&*(#((##@#@>>>>>$<,..so those are all of my secrets, phew nice to get that all off my chest, although I hope going through that tunnel, just now, didn't interfere with the transmission and mess up the posting. Back to drawing and art.

Bloomberg Markets: GM Pensions

I was very happy to be contacted by Bloomberg Markets creative director through a referral by the Bloomberg designer I worked with last summer on a great assignment. He was looking for a metaphorical image to represent the mistreatment of retirement pensions by General Motors. We discussed concepts and such, and I provided the following sketches:

The CD wanted to see a sketch of a "pension" license plate that was beat up and rusty. The plate is a Michigan plate to allude to GM and "motor city."
