DISHING ABOUT DIVORCE

Hello Everyone!

So earlier this summer, I had the opportunity to do a feature illustration for More Magazine which is always a great joy for me. I've mentioned it in my previous post but I have to mention it again.. the Art Director is an absolute blessing to work with!

The article for this illustration focuses on divorce; particularly on women's strong support network and their tendencies to vent as a form of communal therapy. “Wendyland” Preview

Hooray, it’s almost time for “Welcome to Wendyland“, my first solo show! I’ve been preparing lots for the show and it’s going to be so much fun. Got my prints, merchandise and music playlist ready to go, am only curious to see the FREE Food Girls-themed cupcakes my friend is baking! Guess I’ll have to wait till the show…oh the anticipation!

Ooh a lil bit of trivia on the Come As You Are store (where the show takes place): apparently singers Peaches and Feist used to live upstairs or close to the vicinity! How about that for (Read more...)

Sir Seth Thistlewaite is in Stores

Sir SethThistlewaite is now available in stores and online to buy.
I thought I would throw in some preproduction art that was done. These concepts won't be published in the book.

It's a fun book for kids 6-8















This was the final design of Sir Seth

Oh and one last thing. my good friend Hilary Leung is launching his second kids book

Just a quick update but here's an image I did for You Magazine while I was away on holiday, I took some bits and bobs with me just in case anything came in. The article states that between 1 and 5 children in 100 suffer from school phobia (I wish I had that excuse when I was at school!) Anyway lots more to post soon, thanks for looking.
