Daniel has several new pieces posted on his website after a very busy fall. Most notably is the new cover for Bookmarks magazine – available at Borders and Barnes & Noble now. Bookmarks had previously only used stock imagery and this is their first foray into using an illustrator. They were very happy with the results and more covers are planned for 2010. Phil LePine’s work is really quite something, although when you consider he’s been at his job for nearly a quarter of a century, it’s little wonder that his work spans a variety of styles. It’s an inspiring portfolio because illustration these days has become so specilized most people only work in a very limited styliztic range.
