Jeremy Forson

22 Mar

Jeremy Forson’s work includes a slew of really interesting CD cover artwork (though I haven’t heard of any of the bands myself… but then again I’m not exactly in on the music scene). His work adapts itself subtly for his editorial and comic book pieces, and if you look closely you notice his expertise at working with various media to achieve a desired effect. Check out his blog too for additional artwork.

John Suarez

13 Nov

John Suarez is finishing up his training in illustration, but his blog already has some pretty good examples of his work, including what must be one of the world’s sexiest anthromorph pictures. He also has portfolio site, although his blog has more examples at the moment.

Eledone

28 Oct

Belgian illustrator Eledone works with a beautiful style that has a distinct Euro-comic feel to it. She always manages a touch of elegance in her pieces, even with her more explicit pieces.

Patrick Kyle

26 Sep

Patrick Kyle is still working on his illustration degree, but he’s well on his way towards claiming a style of his own. Check out his equally surreal comics, some of which look like they would be Drawn & Quarterly favorites.

Martin Ansin

11 Sep

Martin Ansin has a tight but punchy illustration portfolio, including some truely lovely black and white, as well as painted, comics. I swear there are way too many super talents doing comics these days (and way too few publishers to accomodate all of them)!
