John Suarez is finishing up his training in illustration, but his blog already has some pretty good examples of his work, including what must be one of the world’s sexiest anthromorph pictures. He also has portfolio site, although his blog has more examples at the moment.

Toronto based Ted Kim’s concept work is a nice mix of street-style manga-ish characters coupled with digital paints and some heavy texturing.
