Eli Harris brings his sketchbook work to the gallery in his solo show In Transit at Cafe Royale in San Francisco. Come check out his new work and share some stories with friends at the opening reception August 6th. Here’s the full catalog!

Donat Willenz has some excellent work combining traditional pen and ink with digital colors afterwards. He’s also a pretty good photographer, judging from the photos on his site.

Elizabeth Graeber’s illustrations look so quintessentially English that it was quite a surprise (for me) to see that she’s from Baltimore.

Jason Levesque aka Stuntkid creates weird and wonderful images that beguile and inspire. The are also handy at showing off his great range in different painting styles.

Renee Nault does a fascinating job of mixing media together to create wildly imaginative imagery. Beautiful and dreamy, I’m sure her work will end up in a gallery somewhere, if it hasn’t already.

Mary Kilvert adds flair to simple line illustrations with interesting textures and color palettes. She has some adorable decorative buttons for sale too that will jazz up any tote or hand bag!

When he’s not trying to get his Master’s Degree in renewable architecture (!), Ryan Peltier creates surreal illustrations that captivate your imagination. His loose style reminds me a little of Quentin Blake’s work… on acid.

If the bearded lady doesn’t catch your attention then nothing will.She (or he) joins many other great pieces in Jay Taylor’s portfolio. Have fun with his site – if Windows had his sense of humor perhaps we wouldn’t be quite so terrified of error messages anymore.

Polish illustrator Ada Buchholc has a fine eye for digitally collaging lines and textures with minimal yet striking color palettes.  She keeps a blog with more sketches and artwork.
