Phil Dunne updates his portfolio site www.lovetherobot.com. Featuring brand new collaborations with photographers like James Sagi Kirshenfeld, Alkan Emin and Elias Tahan amongst others. Phil has also uploaded his work produced for the Depthcore collective, you can see his submissions to the chapters entitled ‘Heist’ and ‘Her.’ Also a very special tribute to the late Michael Jackson, go the ‘News’ section to check it out.

There’s something eternally appealing about spooky cute artwork. Lisa Evans has a fine collection of her own, pairing moody rabbits, sweet monsters and surreal dreams together. Check out her blog too for new work.

Hyein Lee’s lovely work mixes Asian influences with low brow culture and cotton candy colours. Check out her blog for more work and shows that she’s been in.

Peter Ryan’s got a healthy collection of paintings on his site in a nice pseudo retro style. Some of his work carries his ideas through in a wonderfully simple yet effect manner.

Jason Smith’s recent paintings have an environmental bent to them, beautifully illustrating the potential hazards and by-products of climate change.

David MacDowell has wicked painting skills. Although most of his paintings seemed destined for gallery shows, they have  rich illustrative bent to them. As well as a healthy dose of sharp humor.

Emma Overman does exquisite paintings of her distinctive-looking characters. If you have the cash for it, some of her paintings are for sale on her site.

Alexei Vella specializes in creating bizarre illustrations that resemble the hypothetical offspring of post-nuclear 30s cartoon characters. A beautiful strangeness, slightly disconcerting yet charmingly hypnotic.

To say that Kris Chau has great work is almost an understatement. Surreal, ethereal, imaginative and captivating would probably be a better approximation for her truly gorgeous work.
