John Kenefic specializes in creating digital woodcut artwork, which retains the charm of old-style book illustrations while being contemporary in theme and color.

Scotland’s Iain McIntosh does fantastic traditional and digital scratchboard illustrations for packaging and editorial work. His site has a delightfully weird section, appropriately named Strange but True, which has illustrated snippets of odd facts.

Illustrator Bill Russell has created a unique niche for himself by combining journalism and illustration.  He interviews people and sketches themas they go about their daily lives, making notes and commentary beside his sketches. He also does scratchboard illustrations, and has a separate website showcasing these.
